About Your Room
Most patient rooms are equipped with a private bathroom, television, and telephone. Public bathrooms are available on each floor for your visitors to use. Your nurse can tell you where they are located.
Your Television
All stations on your television come to you free of charge. For a listing of Cable TV Channels, refer to page 26.
Your Telephone
To receive incoming calls, ask friends and relatives to call (208) 367- and the extension listed on the ceiling above your bed or call the hospital operator at (208) 367-2121. To make a call within the hospital, simply dial the four-digit number that you need.
To make a local call, dial “9” and the number. All calls to Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell, Eagle, and the surrounding area are free of charge.
Long-distance calls can be made using a calling card or credit card, calling collect,

For out-of state calls, dial “8,” then dial “0” and the area code and number you are calling. You may then enter your credit card number after the tone or wait for the operator to assist you in making a collect call or billing your home phone. You may use the long-distance vendor of your choice by following the instructions on the back of your calling card.

Please ask a staff member for assistance if you need help operating your bed. Make sure the bed is close to the floor before you get out of bed so you are less likely to fall.
Your Nurse Call Button
