ON APRIL 1, 2010,
Saint Alphonsus Health System was created to serve the
21st-century healthcare needs of the people of southwestern Idaho, eastern Oregon
and northern Nevada.This four-hospital, 714-bed integratedHealth System comprises
Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, Boise; Saint Alphonsus Medical Center –
Nampa (formerlyMercyMedical Center); Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Ontario
(formerly Holy RosaryMedical Center); Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Baker City
(formerly St. Elizabeth Health Services); and more than 265 Saint Alphonsus Medical
Group providers in 40 locations.
Saint Alphonsus Health Systemwas created with Core Values and a very intentional
Mission and Vision (see box at left).
Saint Alphonsus Health System is a not-for-profit healthcare system that reinvests
profits into our communities in order to improve the health and well-being of the
people we serve.
