About Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center

Saint Alphonsus is a 387-bed non-profit Regional Medical Center with a legacy of offering healthcare services that support our Catholic-based mission to heal body, mind and spirit and to improve the health of our communities.

Founded in 1894 by the Sisters of the Holy Cross, Saint Alphonsus was the first hospital established in Boise–bringing healthcare to the poor and underserved.

We are proud to offer patients one of the most advanced clinical centers in the Northwest, with private patient rooms, state-of-the-art surgical operating theatres, and the most sophisticated diagnostic and treatment technologies.
