Immediate family may visit at any time. Immediate family is identified as spouse, daughter, son, mother, father, brother, sister, grandparent, grandchild, or patient-identified support person. Hours for other visitors are from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily.

Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children must not be left unattended in any area of the hospital.

Up to four people are allowed to visit at one time. Visiting may be limited at patient, family, nursing, or physician discretion.

Visitors should enter and leave the hospital through the Central Tower main entrance, which is unlocked at 5:30 a.m. and locked at 10 p.m. The S2 (Outpatient Diagnostics) main entrance is unlocked at 5:30 a.m. and locked at 8:30 p.m. When doors are locked at both entrances, please use the Emergency Department Entrance.

Special Care Units

Special care units, such as the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Rehabilitation, Family Maternity Center, and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), have their own visitor guidelines and hours. Some of these units do not allow flowers inside patient-care areas. Please check with the special care unit you are visiting for this information.

Smoke-Free Hospital and Campus

Saint Alphonsus is a healthcare facility and smoking is NOT allowed within the hospital, on the grounds of the hospital, or in physician clinics.

Parking

Parking for the Main Entrance to the hospital is available in Lots N2–N7 and the South Parking Garage.

Valet Parking

Saint Alphonsus provides complimentary valet service to all our patients and visitors. For your convenience, valet service is provided Monday through Friday at two locations, as noted below. During the week, our volunteers operate a complimentary golf-cart service that will pick up and deliver visitors and patients to their cars.

Valet Parking Hours

Central Tower Main Entrance: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

S2 (Outpatient Diagnostics) Entrance: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
