NEW FACES IN BAKER CITY
Join us in welcoming Melissa Knutson, MD, and Leslie
Jackson, MD, to the Baker Clinic staff.
Dr. Knutson will be seeing patients for primary
care needs as well as providing
acupuncture and prolotherapy.
She is a fellowship-trained sports
medicine physician and will be
the team doctor for Baker High
School Athletics this year. She
is currently preparing for the
upcoming Baker High School
sports season. Dr. Knutson and
her husband, Michael, recently
relocated from eastern Oregon
and are outdoor enthusiasts. Michael will be the BHS
Bulldogs’ cross country coach.
Dr. Jackson will be seeing patients for primary
care and rheumatology. She
will be providing rheumatology
services for Baker County and
beyond, using our telemedicine
technology. Dr. Jackson recently
retired from the Army as a
colonel and relocated to Baker
County with her twin sons. Her
husband is still on active duty
in the military.
Friday, Nov. 30: Elegant Dinner provided by
Saint Alphonsus – Baker City and live and
silent auction
The Saint Alphonsus Foundation – Baker City is pleased to
announce that through generous community sponsorship we will
have the High Street Band performing at this year’s gala event.
The High Street Band has performed across the country, and they
provide unparalleled showmanship. You can visit their website at

. Mark your calendars for Friday, Nov. 30—you
won’t want to miss this event! Dinner and auction are 6 to 9 p.m.,
music and dancing from 9 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person.
Saturday, Dec. 1: Family day
Admission: Donation of an unwrapped child’s toy or canned food.
We will once again be partnering with Crossroads Art Center to
offer a craft at family day, “Make It &Take It.” Cost is $5 per child
or $15 for a family.

FACELIFT
Saint Alphonsus
Medical Group –
Baker Clinic has
recently been remodeled to create a warm, soothing
environment for our patients. New windows, paint,
carpet and furniture, and other enhancements were
completed inside and outside the building. Look for
more changes to come!

A variety of delectable desserts will be served from 6 to 9 p.m.
Tickets are $15 per person.
